PakBond: Hot-cure adhesives for reliable adhesion with varieties of car brake friction compositions
PakBond is a phenol-formaldehyde resin based solution which contains suitable adhesion promoters to get strong adhesion between friction compounds and metallic plates/shoes during compression molding of brake pads/linings.
PakBond provides strong adhesion between metallic plates or shoes with various friction compositions such as semi-metallic, NAO, low steel and ceramic formulations even at light pressure/temperatures in compression molding process.
PakBond can be applied on metallic plates or shoes by various techniques as brushing, spraying and dipping. Depending on the techniques tended to be used for application, viscosity of the adhesives should be adjusted by adding proper solvent based on the viscosity of the original products and according to the Pak-Fan Composite Sharif Co. guidance.
